Salyu, whose unique voice—imbued with a shimmer and resonance—has continually delivered memorable performances, takes the stage. Since debuting under the name Salyu in 2004, she has continually sought new expressions through live performances in various ensembles and collaborations, breaking free from conventional molds. This year too, she shows no signs of slowing down, continuing her creative activity with a host of new releases. For this autumn’s stage, she will be joined by pianist Kazuha Izawa, whose world is rooted in rock and jazz and who captivates many fans and musicians, weaving a rich instrumental sound with her singing to create an emotionally charged space.
