Singer-songwriter Ayano Kaneko, who performs both acoustic guitar-picking and with a band, will launch a winter Billboard Live tour. In 2016 she released her first acoustic work, "hug," and her albums released so far have been shortlisted for the CD Shop Awards, with one even winning the grand prize. This year, in addition to releasing her latest album, "The Towel Blanket Is Gentle," she drew attention for her first two-night Nippon Budokan performances, a show at Osaka-jo Hall, and a UK tour. This time, she will debut a two-person performance with her familiar band member Hiromitsu Hayashi (Gt). The refined expressiveness and straight, clear vocal tone are sure to envelop the venue, making for a warm, intimate stage.
