Junko Yagami, a singer-songwriter who has long been at the forefront of Japan’s music scene and who was inducted into the Women Songwriter Hall of Fame in the United States last year, teams with Tsugutoshi Gotoh to present the acclaimed The Night Flight series. Last autumn, as the series’ 10th installment, it closed beautifully, leaving fans wanting more. Now, next spring, it will return to Billboard Live in a refreshed guise titled “〜New Departure.” The show is popular for delivering familiar classics in each performance with fresh, innovative arrangements. This time, the band lineup features pianist Jun Sato, newly welcomed guitarist Ima Takeshi, and drummer Hideo Yamaki, bringing together Japan’s top musicians for a thrilling, powerful stage that invites you on a new voyage.
