Taking the stage against the backdrop of the city at night, Tokimeki Records (Tokimeki Rekōzu), a project that covers beloved hits from the 80s–90s Japanese and Western songs, makes its Billboard Live debut! Launched in 2019, their 7-inch record featuring covers of Akina Nakamori and Mariya Takeuchi sold out instantly in 2020, and they were selected for Spotify’s "RADAR:Early Noise 2021," which names 10 domestic artists to watch. In fall 2022 they released their first original album, "Transparent Girl." There is no fixed lineup, but for this show a group of musicians connected to the project gathers, led by vocalist Hikari, who contributed to all tracks on the first album. Additionally, as guest vocalists, RUNG HYANG, who wrote the lyrics and music for the album tracks "puzzle" and "Transparent Girl," and singer-songwriter Kei Owada, who wrote and composed four album tracks and was featured on Circus's cover of "Mr. Summer Time," will participate.
