SHISHAMO, a three-piece rock band celebrating its 10th anniversary since CD debut, makes its Billboard Live debut. The band was formed in a high school light-music club in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, and began full-fledged activity as soon as they graduated high school in 2013. In November of the same year, they released their debut album SHISHAMO. In January 2016, just two years after their CD debut, their first solo Nippon Budokan performance sold out, and in 2017 they appeared on the 68th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen. In 2022 they entered their 10th CD-debut anniversary year, and in November this year they will hold a two-day LIVE at Pia Arena MM to close out the 10th anniversary year, continuing SHISHAMO’s momentum. On November 8 they will release their first acoustic album, “10th Anniversary Acoustic Album ‘ACOUSTIC SHISHAMO’.” To commemorate the release, an acoustic live show at Billboard Live has been scheduled.
