Snarky Puppy, the modern, powerhouse jazz fusion collective whose genre-defying, unique sound has transformed the jazz scene and earned four Grammys for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, will make its Billboard Live debut and bring a Japan tour for the first time in four years!

In response to the Tokyo show selling out immediately, a one-night追加公演 at Billboard Live Yokohama has been announced, and the Japan-bound lineup for this tour has also been revealed.

Since forming in 2004 around bassist Michael League and friends at the University of North Texas, they have continued as a rotating collective of world-class artists who gather from around the globe to express diverse cultures, continually evolving as musicians.

Their 2022 release Empire Central shifts to a funkier sound, and Michael League says, “The band's rule is not to keep the same sound as before. Music should always be moving somewhere.”
