This spring, the salsa band Orquesta de la Luz, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will hold a spring Billboard Live tour. Since the 1990 debut album De La Luz topped the US Latin charts for 11 consecutive weeks, they have received numerous honors, including the UN Peace Prize and Grammy nominations. As they enter their anniversary year, they plan to produce an album and music videos, and the album will feature vocalist NORA, Naoto Inti Raymi (who has been close to Nora), Latin Grammy‑winning producer Tony Skarl, and Maki Ohguro and Touma Rose, who drew attention on “People of the Latin House.” Please join us for a happy, passionate performance to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary, under the theme of the “Japan Latinization Plan.”
