The miraculous a cappella group The Real Group is launching its grand 40th‑anniversary tour at Billboard Live! They met while studying at Stockholm’s Royal College of Music in 1984 and formed The Real Group. Since then, they have captivated fans on a variety of stages, from collaborations with famous artists and orchestras to choirs. In 2000, their album ‘Commonly Unique’ won the Swedish Grammy Award. At the 2002 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by Japan and Korea, they delivered that miraculous harmony to the world at the opening ceremony in Seoul. The album ‘Live in Japan,’ released to commemorate their autumn 2013 visit to Japan, was issued worldwide as a recording made at Billboard Live Tokyo. This time, five years since their last visit to Japan, they will stage the 40th‑anniversary Japan Tour at Billboard Live.
