To commemorate Nano Universe’s 25th anniversary, a special event has launched in collaboration with Billboard Live. The opening edition features a two-man bill pairing S.A.R. and Shin-Tokyo, each crossing over diverse music while sharing jazz and R&B as common threads.

S.A.R. is a six-member group: Santa (Vo), Attie (Gt), Imu Sam (Gt/MC), Taro (Key), may_chang (Dr), and Eno (Ba). They handle not only music but visuals and artwork themselves. In March of this year, they released their debut album Verse of the Kool, a work that clearly reflects their wide musical roots and has drawn heightened attention from music fans.

Meanwhile, Shin-Tokyo, formed in 2021 and steadily releasing singles, released their long-awaited first full album NEO TOKYO METRO in February this year. Shin-Tokyo consists of Harune Sugita (Vo), Toshiyuki Tanaka (Key), Rintaro Okura (Ba), and Yuma Yasuda (Dr). The four members’ individual sensibilities have earned them strong support, and a one-man show at Zepp Shinjuku has been announced for November this year. Emerging as a force in the next generation of J-Pop, the two groups will share the stage in an upscale club space. Please indulge in their fresh sound and grooves.
