On a stage beneath the city’s night, Tokimeki Records—a music project that covers iconic Japanese and Western songs from the 1980s and 1990s—takes the stage with the concept of delivering nostalgic music.

Since its activities began in 2019, covers of Miki Matsubara, Akina Nakamori, Kylie Minogue, and others have drawn attention both domestically and internationally.

In autumn 2022, they released their first full-length album consisting entirely of original songs, “Transparent Girl.”

Since then, they have continued releasing works at a steady pace, and in November 2024 they released a digital cover of Mariya Takeuchi’s “Tonight Is a Hearty Party,” and even performed at a festival in Taiwan.

For this show, vocalists include Hikari, the singer of the neo-soul band Mime, as well as Natsu Summer and JU!iE.
