FM Yokohama, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will present a one-night premium live in collaboration with Billboard Live, broadcast on the station’s radio program “BREAK IT DOWN,” which airs every Sunday at 10:30 p.m. The performers are the program’s DJ and vocalist CHiCO, and singer-songwriter Hikari Kodama. CHiCO made her major debut in 2014 as CHiCO with HoneyWorks, a collaboration with the creator team HoneyWorks, with the single “世界は恋に落ちている” (The World Is Falling in Love). Since then she has performed numerous popular anime theme songs, including for the TV anime Ao Haru Ride. In spring 2023 the unit paused activities, and from summer of that year she launched a solo project as vocalist CHiCO, expanding her repertoire. Hikari Kodama began making music at age 14. In parallel with her solo activities, she joined the acoustic session unit Purasonica and graduated in August 2023. In November of the same year she made her major debut with the single “ドラマチックに恋したい” (I Want to Fall in Love Dramatically). Recently, her work has been used as the opening theme for the TV anime “Megami no Cafe Terrace” (Goddess Cafe Terrace), earning support especially from peers of her generation. Now these two step out of the studio into an intimate club setting to color Yokohama’s night with a one-night-only stage—don’t miss it.
