The duo of Takashi Nagai (“Hotoke”) and Junji Yamagishi of the West Road Blues Band, key figures in the blues boom of the 1970s, makes their first appearance at Billboard Live.

In early summer 2022, they drew widespread attention with live performances at three Kansai locations that are their roots, and in 2024 they released the duo album "... still in love with Blues." For the CD edition, Masaki Ueda of South to South—an ally who has helped lead the Kansai blues/R&B scene—volunteered to participate, and the project was completed. And on the LP to be released this autumn, two tracks not included on the CD are added, with Ueda participating on a total of four tracks, making it hardly an exaggeration to call them members. In the same album, Ueda speaks of Yoshie.N as “a singer who will carry the next generation of the R&B scene,” and Yoshie.N, who appears as a guest at this performance, also participates on three tracks, making it a notably strong release.

With that LP in hand, this live show brings together the four who participated on the album on one premium stage. The collaboration between the vocalists from “West” and “South” is a dream lineup for fans.
