Since 2007, US Billboard has hosted Billboard Women in Music, an annual awards program that honors artists who have contributed to the music industry and empowered women through their activities as “Woman of the Year.” As its Japanese version, the live edition of Billboard JAPAN Women In Music’s third event, which began in September 2022, has been confirmed. The event will be held for two consecutive months from September to October at Billboard Live Tokyo and Billboard Live Yokohama, with CENT performing in Tokyo in September and Chilli Beans performing in Yokohama in October.

Chilli Beans, a trio formed in 2019 by Moto (Vo), Maika (Ba/Vo), and Lily (Gt/Vo), debuted in 2021 with their first EP, “d a n c i n g a l o n e.” In February 2024, they sold out their first Nippon Budokan show. The members themselves handle everything from songwriting and composition to arranging and other creative work, and their music and live performances—unbound by genre—are praised for creating the world of “ChiliBi.”
