Sugar and Spice, the unit formed by NAOTO, Keiji Matsumoto, and Masato Ishinari, makes its Billboard Live debut. Violinist NAOTO captivates with a musical sensibility that transcends genres—from classical to pop—and acrobatic performances; pianist Keiji Matsumoto, who after his activities with T-SQUARE has released a solo album and is active as tour support and arranger; and guitarist Masato Ishinari, an indispensable figure on countless artists’ recordings and live performances, including Ken Hirai and JUJU. These three distinct talents came together in the fall of 2022 to kick off in earnest. Under the theme of “sweetly scented, mesmerizing melodies,” they began their activities and released their first album, Sugar&Spice, the following year. Having collaborated with numerous artists and crafted many songs, the three invite you to experience up close the exciting chemical reaction they create.
