Having been with Shiki Theatre Company for twenty years through the end of 2023, as one of its marquee actors, Yosuke Iida has played a multitude of major roles, including the title role in The Phantom of the Opera and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and is making his first appearance at Billboard Live Yokohama. This year, in his first musical since leaving the company, he played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, and, alongside The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, has achieved the feat of serving as a leading cast in all three of the world’s so-called “big three” musicals. His activities are not limited to the musical stage; he continues to progress with new challenges, such as a nationwide tour and concerts featuring his first original songs.
