Britain-born progressive rock legends ASIA will bring their Japan tour to three Billboard Live venues. Formed by musicians who had already established themselves with Yes and King Crimson, the supergroup drew enormous buzz, and their self-titled debut album became 1982’s best-selling album, spending nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. They continued to shine thereafter, but original member John Wetton passed away in 2017. A memorial concert held in summer 2023 to celebrate his life became the catalyst for restarting ASIA with drummer Virgil Donati, guitarist John Mitchell, and vocalist/bassist Harry Whitley. In spring 2025, under the direction of original member Geoff Downes, they mounted the ASIA Heat of the Moment Tour, which received great acclaim during their Billboard Live performances.
