Three-piece band Atarayo, who touts “A Band That Grows by Eating Sadness,” makes their Billboard Live debut. In 2020, they began activities sparked by YouTube, and after releasing their first original song “Forgetting the Quiet You in October,” their heartbreakingly emotive vocals, urban atmosphere, and relatable, bittersweet lyric world drew attention. In recent years, they have sold out Asia tours and overseas headline shows, expanding their worldwide presence. This year, they released in quick succession the opening theme “Haku” for the TV anime Hell Mode ～A Gamer Who Loves Grinding Becomes Omnipotent in a World with Abandoned Settings～, and the insert song “Haru to Nari” for the film “Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu.” The melodies where longing and warmth melt together, the lyrics that capture the nuances of everyday life, and the delicate band sound that moves between quiet and dynamic—experience them in an intimate club setting.
