Japan's renowned salsa band, Orquesta de la Luz, is coming to Billboard Live in early summer, riding blazing Latin beats. Their 1990 debut album De La Luz topped the US Latin charts for 11 consecutive weeks, and since then they have continued to perform worldwide, including winning the United Nations Peace Prize, earning a Grammy nomination, and touring in 23 countries. The 2024 album Más Caliente, commemorating their 40th anniversary, topped the iTunes Latin charts in Panama, Russia, Kenya, and Japan, drawing wide attention. This year marks their 35th anniversary of their major-label debut, and they plan to release a best-of album including live recordings. In addition, overseas concerts, including in the United States and Mexico, are also on the horizon.
