Naoyuki Fujii, who debuted with The Checkers in 1983 and swept Japan’s music scene, began pursuing his own musical direction early on, releasing the solo album NATURALLY while still with the band, and after the group disbanded he launched his solo career in earnest. He will perform at Billboard Live for the first time in two years. He has continued to hone his own musical voice as a musician, including in the unit F-BLOOD with his elder brother Fumiya Fujii. The Yokohama show, the finale of a tour visiting Billboard Live’s three cities, will be held on his birthday. Look forward to a special stage woven from lush tones and an outstanding band ensemble.
