This year, Kaori Ishihara, who is celebrating her sixth anniversary since her artist debut, makes her Billboard Live debut. She has voiced numerous anime characters, including Kana Tanigawa in Ano Natsu de Matteru, Aladdin in Magi, and Hitomi Tsukishiro in Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara. As an artist, she has built her career as a member of units such as YuiKaori and StylipS. In 2018, she made her solo debut with the single “Blooming Flower” from Pony Canyon, and her clear, pure singing voice and expressive dance performances have drawn widespread support. Her third album, Calm Scene, released this April, features a diverse lineup of songwriters/producers such as Sho Watanabe, ☆Taku Takahashi, eill, and Haruno, expanding the sound variety more than ever and challenging the expression of “stillness and motion.” On her regular stages, Ishihara’s performances are centered on dance and vocals.
