Singer-songwriter Jun Shibata, whose crystal-clear voice has captivated many listeners, will launch a three-city Billboard Live tour this autumn.

Since debuting in 2001 with “Boku no Mikata” (My Ally), she has released hits such as “Moonlight Bath” and “HIROMI,” continuing her musical activities without interruption. In addition, she has been active in a wide range of fields—songwriting, narration, radio hosting, and theater—and has demonstrated her versatility, for example by passing the 47th National Examination for Emergency Medical Technicians.

Last year, she released the four-year-late original full-length album “The Ghost in Room 901,” produced by Satoshi Takebe. Her collaboration in Billboard Live’s “Piano Duo Session” series is still fresh in memory. This full-band show, her first in about six years, will be a special tour that runs from the countdown to her debut anniversary into a birthday concert.
