Eddie Jobson

Overview

Eddie Jobson, a keyboardist/violinist who represents the world of progressive rock, retracts his retirement announcement and returns to the stage for the first time in six years.

Known as a co-founder of the legendary group U.K., Jobson has performed with such renowned bands as Curved Air, Roxy Music, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Yes, and Jethro Tull. He was recognized worldwide from an early age, joining Roxy Music as Brian Eno’s replacement and being selected for Frank Zappa’s band at the age of 21.

After leaving the rock world, he found success as a composer for television and film music, scoring over 100 works. In 2019, as a member of Roxy Music, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, making history as the first violinist to achieve this.

And now, he proclaims that he is withdrawing his retirement declaration and returning to the stage for the first time in six years. His Japan dates at Billboard Live will be held as part of a world premiere limited to just four performances worldwide.

This concert will feature a luxurious lineup with Mark Bonilla (Keith Emerson Band), Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa’s Band), and Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats). Photography and recording are strictly prohibited. We invite you to witness a miraculous night where every moment becomes eternal.
