Satoshi Miyata, marking his 10th anniversary as a solo artist, takes the stage at Billboard Live with a new album in hand. Under the production of Kiyoshi Matsuo, who leads Japan’s R&B scene, he debuted as part of the vocal duo BREATHE and, since 2016, has broadened his activities as a solo artist, ranging from singing and narration for Fuji TV’s The Nonfiction ending theme “Samsara” to narration, readings, and stage performances. In recent years, he has continued to pursue activities in a variety of fields, including writing the cheering song “TOHOKU PRIDE” for his alma mater, Tohoku High School, which qualified for the Spring Senbatsu Koshien. Now, he will hold a special live show that, in addition to his previously released originals, delivers for the first time songs from his latest album, set for release in June, in a band setup.
