This year marks Mayo Shono's 50th anniversary since debut, and as a leading singer-songwriter of Japanese pop music, she will perform at Billboard Live Osaka in her hometown for the first time in two years as a solo artist. Known for hits such as “Fly to Istanbul” and “Cheers in Monte Carlo,” and as a pioneer of the New Music movement that transcends the boundaries of folk and kayōkyō, she continues to captivate many fans. She will deliver a luxurious stage you can only experience here, this time also featuring her familiar request corner while weaving in anecdotes about the songs and comments from voices submitted in advance.
