The eternal guitar hero Mitsuyoshi Azuma leads Japan’s only jump‑jive band, performing at Billboard Live.

In the autumn of 1979, while a student at a certain university, Azuma formed the group as a graduation present. It was supposed to disband as soon as he graduated, but they found it so enjoyable that they re-formed nine months later. Since then, they have carried on through the Showa and Heisei eras at a relaxed pace into the Reiwa era, and in 2019, to mark their 40th anniversary, released their eighth album. Last November they also released a 7-inch vinyl, and even after turning sixty they continue to stay energetically active.
