Overview
Sergio Mendes, a treasure of the Brazilian music world and a global pop maestro, takes the stage. In the 1960s he became a leading figure in the bossa nova boom, and his 1966 album “Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’66” and the track “Mas Que Nada” became worldwide hits. Since then, as a producer, composer, keyboardist, and vocalist, he has influenced the music world with his many charms and talents. Having produced a string of hits by arranging a wide range of songs into refined bossa nova and stylish AOR-inspired styles, he brings the magical Brazilian pop sound that the world has fallen in love with—please enjoy this stage to the fullest.
