Overview

Me'Shell Ndegéocello, a ten-time Grammy-nominated contemporary master multi-instrumentalist, returns to the Billboard Live stage. Since her 1993 debut on Madonna’s Maverick, her own artistry has flourished, and she has been cherished as a session collaborator by pop greats from the Rolling Stones, Santana, and Prince to jazz legends such as Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, and Harvey Mason. This June, she released the new album Omnicode Real Book, entirely written by Me'Shell herself, featuring illustrious guests like Mark Giuliana, Corey Henry, and Joan as Police Woman, which became a major talking point. With deep roots in jazz yet blending soul, R&B, and Afrobeat to elevate them into her distinctive sound, she remains a pioneering force inspiring the scene, and this latest live performance is not to be missed.
