Hiroki Kashiwagi 20th Anniversary Live -1st session-
※ These are special hours.
Overview
Cellist Hiroki Kashiwagi, known for wielding the cello—the instrument said to have a timbre closest to the human voice—with transformative versatility, and who calls himself a “cello comedian,” aims for music that overflows with smiles. He collaborates with violinist Taro Hakase, pianist Yukie Nishimura, and guitarist Kotaro Oshio, and also works as a producer and arranger. His activities span a wide range, including providing music for films and television programs, collaborations with readings and tap dance, and more. In addition, on the nationwide “Two-Person Journey” tour with pianist Kenichi Mitsuda, their tightly coordinated performances and banter have been well received year after year. Having appeared at Billboard Live multiple times, Kashiwagi has chosen Billboard Live as the stage for the first installment of his milestone 20th anniversary solo concert. We hope you spend a blissful moment in Kashiwagi’s world, where soothing tones that calm the daily clamor and dramatic staging come together.
