Overview
Internationally acclaimed soprano Akiko Nakajima makes her Billboard Live debut, headlining a luxurious lineup of guests. She moved to Australia at age 15 and graduated from the University of Sydney and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In 1990 she won the Australian Opera Competition and made her operatic debut. Since 1999 she has been a contracted artist at the Vienna Volksoper, where her outstanding expressiveness has earned her overwhelming popularity. Based in Vienna, she has expanded her international activities, and she became the first Japanese to be appointed professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. For this live, led by Akiko Nakajima who has come to Japan for the occasion, a glamorous cast including Mate Kamaras, who performed the role of Death in Elisabeth in Vienna; Asato Hizuki, a renowned singer from the former Takarazuka Revue; Risa Junna; Masaaki Saito; and Tetsuya Kuwayama, invites you to enjoy an elegant, adults-only special night show.
