Charity project “PLAYING FOR CHANGE” will present a three-city Billboard Live tour featuring guitar legend Char, who has long participated in the project.

Since its launch in 2002, the project has connected artists from around the world by singing standard numbers and delivering their sound and visuals, expressing a “global connectedness” that transcends borders, races, cultures, and religions.

Joining them on stage this time as well will be Char, who since his 1976 debut has released timeless songs such as “Smoky” and “Kizetsu suru hodo nayamashii” (a title roughly meaning “so irresistibly seductive”), and in recent years has participated in charity songs released via streaming by Keisuke Kuwata, and released the album SOLILOQUY, in which he handled all aspects of music production by himself, continuing to pursue expression for nearly half a century. Look forward to a peaceful stage delivering timeless songs that cross eras and borders in a one-day-only session.

Notice of Performer Change
Today, 7/8, at Billboard Live Yokohama, the performance of “PLAYING FOR CHANGE with Char” will proceed as scheduled, but two performers, Jason Tamba (Vo / Gt) and Peter Bunetta (Dr), will cancel their appearances due to illness.

The concert will go ahead as planned, but refunds will be available for customers who wish to cancel due to this decision. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to those who were looking forward to the performance.
