A three-piece band, Ame no Parade, consisting of Kohei Fukunaga (Vo), Kosuke Yamazaki (Gt), and Miho Osawa (Dr), will perform at Billboard Live for the first time in a year. Formed in 2013, they released their first full-length album, “New generation,” in March 2016 and made their major debut under Victor Entertainment’s ＜SPEEDSTAR RECORDS＞. From the start, they have blended R&B, rock, ambient, and EDM among other genres, while championing a new era of pop music and continuing to project a unique presence. In September 2024, they released their sixth full-length album, “Strata,” after about four years. Produced by JQ (Nulbarich) and mabanua, with performances by TAB ZOMBIE (SOIL&“PIMP”SESSIONS) and MELRAW, this work strengthens influences from neo-soul and gospel, painting a deeper sonic image. Furthermore, for this show, guest appearance by one of Japan’s most important young trumpet players, Reiya Terakubo, who has won numerous awards and contributed to the works of Yorushika, Fumiaki Ezaki (WONK), BREIMEN, and other artists. The new track “Domino feat. Reiya Terakubo” will also be released digitally.
