Overview
The Swedish-born pop-rock band Dirty Loops, renowned for captivating the world with their dazzling technical prowess, are bringing their long-awaited Japan tour for the first time in three years! The Tokyo and Yokohama performances sold out instantly, and an additional show at Billboard Live Yokohama has been announced.
Dirty Loops, formed in 2008, began as an experimental project aimed at trying things you wouldn’t do in a normal music session. When they posted bold cover videos of pop classics on YouTube, their cover of Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” drew attention and quickly made them a standout act. Dozens of cover videos went viral around the world, eventually leading to work with songwriter Andreas Carlsson and David Foster, and even a management deal with Quincy Jones.
In 2014 they released their debut album, ‘Loopified’, and they supported Maroon 5 on tour and embarked on a world tour. In 2020 they released their second album, ‘Phoenix’, and in 2021 followed up with a collaboration with guitarist Cory Wong, ‘Turbo’. And in 2024, carrying their latest EP, ‘Beagle’, they undertook large-scale tours in North America and Europe, drawing increasing attention.
Their live performances, blending jaw-dropping instrumental technique with high entertainment value, are sure to captivate everyone who watches! Dirty Loops is returning to Japan on the stage once again—don’t miss the moment.
