Masato Honda, a powerhouse saxophonist whose superb technique and unique musical sensibility have captivated many fans, returns to Billboard Live Yokohama this year with a band led by himself. This time, he will be joined by Japan’s leading figures in the music scene—Naoto Nakagawa on keyboards, Shoya Kitagawa on guitar, Ryu Kawamura on bass, and Maoki Yamamoto on drums. Beyond his own activities, he remains active in a wide range of projects, including sessions and recordings with numerous artists, as well as production work.
