Kohiruimaki Kahoru
40th Anniversary: The Tapestry's Compass
Overview
Kahoru Kohiruimaki, who celebrated her 40th anniversary since debut in 2025, takes the stage with her new song “Tapestry’s Compass.” Since her 1985 debut, she has released numerous hits such as “Hold On Me,” “City Hunter — Love, Don’t Fade Away,” and “DREAMER,” and has issued works produced by Prince and Maurice White, helping to lead Japan’s R&B scene. In recent years she has broadened her activities even further, including streaming on YouTube, and she has revealed that she is also working on the album “Kohhy6.” As she enters this anniversary year, her voice shines even more, and the mature band sound will captivate you—look forward to her latest stage.
